Dreams and Prophetic Words for Our Region
Trip To Moravian Falls & The Lampstand Light Center Assignment
Tuesday 1/14/25 “Journey and Arrival”
We drove down to Moravian Falls, North Carolina because after praying about it, we felt God wanted us to take this trip. On the way, we were looking for a place to eat that served salads since we were fasting. As we drove through Fancy Gap, North Carolina it was so dark and nothing was open. Finally we saw a barbeque restaurant, but we were afraid we couldn’t eat anything there since we were fasting. As we pulled into the dark parking lot, Katy said, “ Lord, can we just find a place that serves salads.” As we laughed, we looked across the dark parking lot and the window said” SALADS” in large vinyl across the window. So cool that God meets every little need we have, no matter how small. It was the cutest little diner, filled with auto shop décor.
We continued on to our location and arrived at the Apple Bnb around 9 p.m. We were greeted by the owner, Mark. He was very welcoming and carried our luggage in from the vehicle and up to our room. Each room had its own name on the door. He gave us the key to the room named “Abundance!” Mark proceeded to testify to us how he received the word that he would purchase the bnb in 2020. Even though it looked entirely impossible, God assisted the couple with obtaining a loan, and has brought them through multiple years of owning this important piece of property that is the gate to Prayer Mountain. We then told Mark about the 1902 building that the Lord has laid on our heart to own one day. Mark then prayed with us for the divine resources needed to purchase and renovate The 1902 building.
Such a great night of encouragement from the Lord! What a timely testimony that we needed to hear.
Wednesday 1/15/25 “Our First Day”
As we woke up, we began meeting some of the wonderful people who were staying in the other lodge rooms. As we cooked breakfast together, we discussed that we need to cook more frequently for our families this week. We also mentioned how it’s wonderful to see a Christian hospitality business and that we’re learning valuable skills for the next tourism venture that God calls us to.
After lunch, we drove up to Prayer Mountain for some quiet time with God. We sat on a log in the most beautiful spot and prayed together. We decided to go pray individually as well. It was a time to ask God for answers and to seek Him for direction and next steps on several of our assignments. We also enjoy praying for our family, businesses, and ministry there.
That night we went to the Charlie Shamp “Altars” conference. We had seen Charlie Shamp’s prayer meetings in 2023, and had learned so much in a short time. We knew the conference would be a wealth of revelation. When the worship began, nobody was flagging. Christina asked Katy if she’d come to the back of the room and flag. So we headed to the back of the room and began our worship. We noticed one 12 year old girl kept looking at us and copying our arm movements with her arms. We invited her to flag with us. The next thing we knew, we had a large group of children flagging in the back. The worship was beautiful! Christina kept thinking, God is raising up His Wild Ones! Even this precious little 3 year old participate, and she noticed everything we did. When we rolled up our flags, she very carefully rolled hers up. So sweet.
The word for that night was that the two things we need in this season are: A Baptism of Fire and Unity in the Body of Christ. “May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant. Psalm 35:27
God wants to prosper us so he can use us to be a blessing. We are in a time of restitution. God is giving the church a window of time. Prayer is the arrow of deliverance, and we need to strike with prayer and not stop. God is giving us time periods in history that we can strike the mark and not miss. Charlie said that it’s all about gates, altars, and covenants. Whoever is in charge of the gates forms the altars and then the covenants are established. When we understand who we are in Christ, God will call us to certain regions. Every Christian is an intercessor. We are called to intercede wherever we are. God has placed us there on purpose. God want to bring us through to an Acts 4 church. You have to get to the place where you don’t care what other people think of you. What we do on Earth is to mirror Heaven so God can bless it. Establishing unification in a prayer group is so important and powerful. “Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Matt 18:19-20 As you pray in teams, your prayer team will get downloads from Holy Spirit, and it helps you to see the whole picture as each prayer team member shares what they see.
We returned to the lodge ready to sleep and have another amazing day!
Thursday 1/16/25 “Hearing Angels Singing and Holy Spirit Downloads”
As we awoke, we felt very rested and ready for another amazing day. Katy finished planning for her work conference and completed the agenda for the Farmers Prayer Breakfast. We were getting ready to pray in the basement of the lodge with a group of other guests. Katy’s husband Don texted her to say that there were 105 people in our event barn back at home. There was an important meeting there to discuss the current issues with the apple industry and how to solve some of the problems that are continuing. Katy said that she wanted to stop working for a moment and asked Christina to help her pray for the group and that solutions would be found for the problems farmers are experiencing. While we prayed and Christina kept hearing the Lord say Psalm 105. She kept hearing it over and over throughout the day, but didn’t tell Katy yet.
We went down to the basement and we sat on the sofa to join the others in prayer and worship. This was a prolonged time of praying in the Spirit as a group of 7 or 8 people. It was powerful! About 45 minutes into the prayer, Katy heard two phrases from the Lord. The first was, “Prophetic worship flows from prayer.” The second was, “Call a prayer counsel.” Katy thinks this is regarding her desire to have live prophetic worship at Dove’s Landing. God was giving her a key to how to begin the process. You can’t worship prophetically until you first get into the secret place with God and hear His utterances. The prayer council is powerful, just like we learned the night before. It’s time for Dove’s Landing to be praying even more as a group than we are now.
Time for our second trip up to the top of Prayer Mountain. We prayed for our nation, for the farmers again, and for God to use us. Then we decided to pray individually. Christina walked further down the path, and prayed in the spirit and in English. She asked God if He would reveal to her the angels that were on the mountain with us. Katy walked to a separate spot overlooking the farmland below with blue mountain peaks across the horizon. As she prayed she decided to put her head phones on and worship to the song, “God of Revival.” After singing that song, the song “Holy Forever” came on next. The lyrics really spoke to her of the history of the land there and the many people who have prayed to God over the years there. Click here to listen to the song.
Katy knew it was time to find Christina after singing the second song. She walked back toward the entrance of the trail to meet up with her. Christina shared that she had heard angelic voices on the trail. On her walk up the mountain toward the meeting spot, she saw Katy sitting in a chair. Christina could hear her singing, and she remembered being touched, thinking how pure Katy’s heart is for the Lord. But as she walked closer, the most majestic voices had joined in with Katy’s. The choir of voices echoed out over the mountainside. It was beautiful. No music, just a Capella. The words were not any language Christina recognized, but there was a holiness to it that was indescribable. They both knew that the angels had been joining in the worship of the Lord.
We went back to the lodge, showered and headed to town. We found a cute shop that was doing marketplace ministry. It had a prayer board where people could write and post their prayers. Katy ordered a board so we can make one at the farm market. We ate dinner at Roselli’s Italian Restaurant and discussed how God has changed our hearts to want exactly what He wants. It’s amazing that He has laid new plans on our heart that we could never have imagined on our own and that it’s hard for other people to understand these plans. Later at the conference, Dr. Mary Alice Isleib spoke on exactly this topic! It was as if she was right there with our conversation. We talked about the prayer of supplication and how God’s heart is our heart…God, if that’s what you want then that’s what we want.
At the conference Christina felt Holy Spirit urging her to write Psalm 105 on paper and give it to Katy. Katy read it and she folded the note into her Bible. Later that evening, Katy told Christina that the verse really resonated with both she and Don. Katy told Christina to read it. Christina did so and was completely blown away! Such a significant NOW word.
Thursday night we returned home to the lodge, and everyone wanted to worship together in the basement. One young woman was especially anointed for worship. She played the guitar and we all sang with her as she led the songs. Christina suggested that she sing Psalm 105 since God had highlighted that chapter. It was so powerful. After a while, this young woman started teaching the children and some of us to play chords on the guitar, keyboard, and to use the cahone. We worshipped Jesus until 2 in the morning!
Friday 1/17/25 “Farmer Friendships”
The next morning this group of new friends ate breakfast together and discussed our assignments from the Lord. As Katy discussed the Farmers Prayer Breakfast that she’d been preparing for, two of the other people in the lodge announced that they are farmers too. One was a gentleman who lived up the road and had just bought property on Prayer Mountain. His vision for the property was very similar to some of the things God has shown us for our farm, but he had some fun new ideas that were specific to his property. He invited us to visit his property later that day and to pray over it. One woman in the group mentioned that she’s been leading prayer meetings in town halls in her area. She said that God recently just showed her a farm that was right beside her home. Initially she had been focused on a building in town, but then the farm came up. Now she was asking God why the two locations. Katy told her that was interesting because she’s been focusing on her farm, and now God is showing her a building in town. It was funny that it was a similar vision but the opposite order. They continued to talk about how they are all involved in ministry in their towns and that God’s opening unexpected doors of opportunity.
Katy and Christina visited the farm with the young man and prayed over the property, anointing it with oil. It was very encouraging to see a young farmer who was so excited about the vision for his property. We all left feeling encouraged and excited about how God will use the small farms for His people in the future.
Off to the Charlie Shamp conference where we celebrated and worshipped with our voices and flags. Dr. Mary Alice preached and taught on James 5:16 and Elijah the prophet. She discussed the 14 types of prayer in the Bible and said that people in the USA aren’t passionate enough for the ways of God. The Holy Spirit inside of us is a prayer warrior. She spoke about the need to go to the nations and that our own country will be blessed. She testified to her many years in missionary work and how God pulled down the iron curtain and allowed for churches to be built in those countries. However, she said when the open heaven comes…you had better be praying fervently and ready to go to action. She likened it to Psalm 127 and said it’s a historic moment in time that we were prepared for because we had been praying. “We were like people who dreamed.”
This sermon was so inspiring and really activated us to dig into more prayer and to be ready to go and build when it’s time.
Saturday 1/18/25 “Where Everything Comes Together”
We awoke excited to go to Statesville, North Carolina to meet our friend June Bacon Lizotte. We had commissioned her to paint a picture of the 1902 building. As Habakuk 2: 2-3 reads, “And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” God showed us this building and through a 6 week period gave us multiple words about it. You can read more about how God showed us this assignment here. The Lord gave us the strategy to also have the vision painted for all to see.
We set out on our 45-minute journey through the country roads of North Carolina. We saw some beautiful areas and some vacant main streets along the way. We prayed over the towns as we drove. June met us at Broadstreet Burger. As we were driving into the town of Statesville, the banners (standards) on the sides of all the buildings read, “Where everything comes together”. Katy laughed and said, “Well isn’t that the truth!” June shared lots of stories with us and we all enjoyed catching up. We went to the parking lot to get the painting and put it into our car. June just glowed as she showed us her beautiful work! It was truly awesome and the perfect depiction of God’s blueprint for our project. She wrote up an Artist Statement of the painting titled “The Lampstand Light Center” which you can read here. Especially poignant was the verse she chose to go with the painting. “Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of the light.” John 12:36.
She asked, “What’s next with the Light Center?” Katy nervously said, “We’re not sure yet. We’re waiting on God’s direction.” On the way home we stopped by Charlie Shamp’s Prayer Garden at Destiny Encounters Church. Christina was eager to see a prayer garden in person as she wants to build one in Martinsburg on her new property. Melissa, a guest at the lodge, had told us that she had seen a dome of angels over the prayer garden the day before and so that was exciting to hear. Katy and Christina stepped into the prayer garden and found it to be very precious and that you could tell people were lovingly building this garden one prayer at a time. We sat in the two white Adirondack chairs and prayed for a moment. Katy said, “God, I want to see the angels too!” And we laughed.
As we drove back to the lodge, we reached the bottom of Prayer Mountain. Katy was thinking about how we would present this whole testimony to our church the next day. It’s quite a story and she was pondering where to begin. Just then, the Holy Spirit hit her with a revelation. “Two years ago you were here and heard about the lampstand. Now you are back on Prayer Mountain, where the Moravian Lampstand Movement ensued for many years. You have your divine blueprint from God in your hands. Take it to the top of the mountain and ask God to bless it and send the angel armies with you to help build the Lampstand Light Center.” She and Christina both laughed as Holy Spirit flooded them with chill bumps and excitement. Up the mountain we went!
As we reached the top of Prayer Mountain, the sky was beautiful. We stopped to take two separate victory photos with our arms in the air towards God. We knew God was moving on our behalf and giving us the next steps to His plan.
At the top of the mountain a man stood in the road waving his arms at us. This was around 5 p.m. and not many people were usually up there at that time. It was just Katy and Christina, the man, and one other visitor. The man walked up to Katy and Christina and said, “You are here on a diving assignment.” God told him to meet us there and he had been waiting. This was interesting since Katy and Christina didn’t even plan to come to the mountain top until 20 minutes prior. The man said, “God is going to use you. All you need is the Holy Spirit. Whenever Holy Spirit is mentioned in the Bible, power is always the first thing mentioned afterwards. He said, “You are mightier than men. You are warriors. You are carrying a sword. God can use you because you are doers. You listen to God and do what He says. You need to speak the Word of God. There is power in the Word of God. You are humble. But never compromise! Never compromise! Keep a fear of the Lord at the center. Never fear tomorrow. Never fear lack of finances. God will provide everything you need.” He started speaking quickly with scriptures about Holy Spirit and power. He said, “I bless you and your family and He said that our children and our future generations would be like the birds above our heads in the trees…flying from branch to branch…and nothing can stop them.” We had never seen this man and he knew that we were both married with children. He began to speak freedom and healing over us like, “Do not fear! You have nothing to be afraid of! Holy Spirit in you is greater!” He prayed off the spirit of heaviness, and he prayed against witchcraft attacks. He had Christina lay her hand on Katy’s back and pray healing for her back. He said, “God says you cannot be crippled and do what I need you to do!” So when he was done praying with us and prophesying over us, we asked him if he’d like to see our divine assignment. He said yes. We opened the hatch of the car and showed him the building. He said that the Lord was showing him a yellow sludge that had been all over our town. Now the Lord was showing him tiny green grass that was growing under the ground all through our town. It symbolizes new growth and new life. Not just under the 1902 building, but under the whole town and all of the buildings. He seemed very touched when we told him that Katz meant “righteous priest” in Hebrew and that it was the first Jewish department store in Martinsburg. He then went to his car and got a shofar. He blew the shofar out loud over the mountain and we yelled, “Hallelujah!” As he was walking away, he turned to look back at us and said, “Maybe I’ll see you again someday.” We believe he was an angel visiting us in response to us asking the Lord to see one that day. Just like it says in the Bible, “Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!” Hebrews 13:2 NLT.
Katy and Christina proceeded to take the painting to the deck at the top of the mountain and present the blueprint to the Lord for approval. We asked for God to bless it and send the angelic help that we need to assist with the building of this project. Then we worshipped and flagged on top of the mountain. Christina chose gold flags and Katy chose royal blue flags and we both laughed when we realized it was West Virginia colors.
When we returned to the lodge afterwards, the ladies asked if we had just been on top of the mountain. We said yes. They asked if we heard a shofar. They said they had heard the most beautiful sound of a shofar that they had ever heard. We said yes, that the angel had blown the shofar.
So there will be more to the story as this is constantly developing with revelation and wisdom from the Lord. We’ve included photos of parts of this story.
As we drove home, Christina and Katy laughed about all that they had experienced in such a short time. Five days literally felt like six months! We had been trained in multiple areas, and had a clear plan of what to do next. And, no fear!
